Wader Vision Scout 2.0 Strip

Scout waders have been highly respected among keen fishermen. For the ones who like more simple and lighter waders we made the Strip version. We removed the fully waterproof zipper and made a simpler, stretchy front pocket. Inside the front pocket we added our removable Waterproof Pouch. Inside the wader you can still find the Scout flip pocket, and as this is also removable you can switch the WP pouch and flip the pocket’s place if wanted. The fit and cut is the same as on other Scouts but as the aim was to make a lighter wader we made it throughout from the lighter upper fabric. Obviously, this lighter fabric enhances the high breathability even more. This is the active fisherman’s dream wader.

Wading Shoe Nahka Michelin

Maximum comfort has now maximum grip. Well-fitting leather shoe which offers great support both in wading and walking has now the Michelin outsole. The upper is a combination of water treated nubuck leather, microfibre and nylon mesh. The laces start far in front allowing you to tighten the shoe perfectly according to your own foot shape. This together with the characteristics of leather make these one of the most comfortable wading shoes in the market. Triple and double stitched seams, stitched & glued midsole and strong rubber bumper, which is part of the outsole, makes this a super strong shoe.

The Michelin sole which we have designed together with the world famous Michelin tire manufacturer offers multiple benefits over many other rubber soles. The front bumper is built into the outsole so there’s no possibility for them to be separated. The pattern of the sole is inspired by Michelin LTX A/S tire with modifications targeted for wading. The lugs on the sides have aggressive sculptures giving you extra grip for slopes and muddy paths. The lugs in the middle have wave sipings for adherence and adaptability over uneven surface of the rocks. The front and heel sculptures are designed to take the wear and tear during longer walks and their pattern adds traction when needed. For extremely slippery & slimy conditions we made recessed positions for our Tungsten Carbide studs which can be added if needed.

The rubber compound itself is a mixture of an off road and Scandinavian winter tire compounds. Just like the studless winter tires on snow these soles give you a very good grip on rocks. The more you put pressure on the sole the harder it grips the rock surface, as the soft compound with sipped lugs adapt over the uneven surface. In addition to a better grip the shoe has also a better feel while wading. The soft and well adaptive outsole combined with flexible EVA midsole lets you feel what’s under your shoe, but same time it gives enough support even in the hardest of conditions.
